We carry within us far more ability and strength than we are used to attributing to ourselves.
It is possible to learn to use them consciously to positively influence the way we live and cope.
Founder of Briah and a lecturer, bringing to the stage a personal journey of coping, discovery, and change — and the understanding of how we can identify our inner strengths and harness them for positive change.

Nice to meet you, I'm Meital Arik.
For years I walked a familiar and demanding path — a meaningful career in the worlds of technology and cybersecurity, constant advancement, family, responsibility, and endless doing. I was accustomed to solving every challenge, moving forward, and doing exactly what needed to be done.
In 2017, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, reality stopped. This experience opened for me a deep journey of inquiry, learning, and inner observation — a journey that fundamentally changed not only the way I went through this period, but the way I live and look at life ever since.
Along the way, I realized that we are not merely reacting to what life brings, but active partners in shaping our reality — through the choices we make, the thoughts we nurture, the meaning we give to what happens, and the steps we choose to take. I discovered within me new strengths, and the ability to influence, choose, change, and grow — even when the path is challenging.
From this personal journey Briah was born — an empowering digital space built especially for women in oncological coping, alongside the lecture "Creating Health from Within", where I share the path, the insights, and the tools that allow us to discover the strengths within us and harness them for positive change.
The Lecture
Creating Health from Within
A lecture about the inner strengths that exist in all of us — and the ability to learn to use them to be our own greatest helpers
The lecture "Creating Health from Within" was born from a sharp transition from a life full of doing, control, and forward movement — to a period in which almost everything familiar and stable was shaken.
Precisely from this experience, when the usual tools were no longer enough, I began to deeply explore what truly helps us hold ourselves, cope, choose, and keep moving even within a reality of uncertainty.
The insights and tools I bring to the lecture were born not only from theoretical learning, but from life experience: from moments when I had to test on myself what strengthens me, what weakens me, what patterns drive me, and how I can create a new way within me.
From here emerged the questions the lecture brings to the audience:
What truly drives us day to day?
How many of our choices are made out of habit, fear, or "must"?
What happens when we pause for a moment and start listening to ourselves differently?
And what strengths already exist within us, but we have not yet learned to identify and harness?
In the session, I combine my personal story with insights and tools from the worlds of resilience, awareness, and change, and examine how our thoughts, words, beliefs, and habits affect the way we experience reality and act within it.
Through observing the patterns and automations that drive us, coping with fear and uncertainty, and the ability to choose our focus anew, we discover the sphere of influence that already exists within us — and the possibility to use it to strengthen ourselves and create positive changes in our lives.
"Creating Health from Within" is an invitation to take what was born from an extraordinary period — and turn it into tools you can live with in everyday life.
What You Take from the Session
Identify What Truly Drives Us
To distinguish the patterns, beliefs, fears, and "must" that activate us automatically — and to understand how periods that disrupt routine can become an opportunity to pause, observe, and choose anew.
Discover How Much Strength Already Lies Within Us
To understand that precisely in moments of challenge, strengths, abilities, and inner resources we didn't know existed within us are sometimes revealed — and to learn to identify them and use them long after the challenge has passed.
Know Our Sphere of Influence
To discover that even within a reality we didn't choose, we have an active ability to influence — through our focus, thoughts, words, choices, and the actions we bring to it.
Turn What We Learned from the Challenge into a Way of Life
To take the insights born precisely in extraordinary periods and translate them into choices, habits, and positive changes that can be applied within everyday life — to be our own greatest helpers.
Who Is the Lecture For?
The lecture is suitable for organizations, companies, management teams, teams, communities, and conferences seeking to give their audience a meaningful encounter about resilience, choice, change, and the ability to discover and harness our inner strengths.
Especially suitable for resilience and health days, HR and Wellbeing activities, team meetings, conferences, and organizational events.
It takes on special meaning during periods of change, crisis, or uncertainty — when organizations and individuals need to adapt to a new reality, cope with overload and challenges, and rediscover within themselves the ability to choose, act, and keep moving forward with more resilience and awareness.
From the Personal Path, Briah Was Also Born
During my experience with breast cancer, I felt how alongside medical treatment, accessible, simple tools are sometimes lacking — tools that can help us on the mental and emotional level, in moments of fear, overload, uncertainty, and also in everyday life.
From this gap, Briah was born — a digital space for mental support and strengthening the inner resilience of women in oncological coping.
Briah was built to provide a holistic response to the needs that arise along the oncological journey. It brings together in one place mental tools such as breathing exercises, meditations, music, writing, gratitude, empowering affirmations, and supportive content — alongside attention to the physical, emotional, and psychological needs that change along the way.
The system offers support tailored to different stages of the journey — before treatments, during them, and in the follow-up and return-to-routine period — and simultaneously connects the woman to her support circles: family, friends, associations, and communities.
In addition, Briah helps bring order to the abundance of information, and refers to reliable sources and relevant professionals, to enable the woman to receive support and information in a more accessible, clear, and grounded way.
For me, Briah is a direct continuation of the path I traveled — a connection between what I learned and discovered through my personal experience, and the knowledge, needs, and insights gathered over the past nine years from meetings and conversations with dozens of women who went through the oncological journey themselves. I sought to bring all of this together and make it accessible in one place — available, accessible, and tailored to the different moments along the way.
